contains interactive activities for Language Arts practice
and comprehension. Just choose your subject, state and book
cover to enter. There are self-scoring quizzes to check
understanding of concepts, as well as standardized test
practice for SAT and ACT which work well as TCAP practice.
The site also offers interactive vocabulary practice and
brainteasers. Don't forget that the other subjects on this
site offer extra practice and activities even if they are
not the exact book you use now.

thesaurus and a unique build your own dictionary activity.

Holt, Rinehart and Winston allows you to enrich your
knowledge with structured Web-based activities related to
content in Holt Science and Technology. Select Middle School
Science, then choose from Life, Earth or Physical Science to
find your book and related activities.
Select

keyword HTN Home, then select your book and chapter for
practice activities and printable worksheets.

service developed and maintained by the National Science
Teachers Associations that links you to resources directly
related to chapter topics in Holt Science textbooks. Here is

Social Studies
The American Journey - Beginnings to 1877 Volume One can be
found at americanjourney.glencoe.com
The site
includes complete web-based activities for each unit, an
interactive tutor so that you can challenge yourself by
solving puzzles for every chapter and current events to keep
you up to date with the most current information.
You will
need to login to use the
complete online student edition. Your teacher has the
username and password. After you log in, select table of
contents, pick your chapter and then click on contents on
the book page. This section of the site requires a high
speed internet connection and will probably not load on
dial-up.
