Macmillan/McGraw-Hill Language Arts has a site designed to
enrich your study of each unit in the textbook Their website
at
www.mhschool.com also has activities for math, reading,
social studies, science, health and music. Just choose your
subject and your book cover. This site is suffering from
some broken links, but still has lots of activities and
information to go with your textbook.

www.wordcentral.com for word games, dictionary,
thesaurus and a unique 'build your own' dictionary activity.

Science, then choose from Life, Earth or Physical Science to

Social Studies
Your 6th
grade Social Studies book, Human Heritage, A World History,
has online activities at
humanheritage.glencoe.com which web activities for each
chapter, and chapter overviews with chapter content and key
terms. The STUDENT CENTER includes 'Beyond the Textbook'
interactive websites for extended knowledge, state
resources, current events and the National Geographic
MapMachine. At the bottom of the box marked STUDENT CENTER,
select your unit and chapter chapter overviews, self-check
quizzes, ePuzzles and Vocabulary eFlashcards. The Textbook
resources include multi-language glossaries, web links and
an online student edition. There is currently a problem with
the login for the complete student edition, but the rest of
the site works.
