Point 2:  National Day of Prayer will be observed Thursday at 9:00.  Eighth grade will be gone to Lexington for Teen Summit.

Safety tip for the Day
Never Swim Alone!
No matter how good of a swimmer you are, no matter where you are (pool or river), you should never swim alone.   Always use the buddy system.  Every year there are swimming accidents where “good swimmers” drown.

Thought for the day: “The doors of wisdom are never shut.”  Ben Franklin

Safety tip for the Day

10 Tips to Healthy Eating and Physical Activity for You

#1 – Start Your Day with Breakfast

Breakfast fills your “empty tank” to get you going after a long night without food.  And it can help you do better in school.  Easy to prepare breakfasts include cold cereal with fruit and low-fat milk, whole-wheat toast with peanut butter, yogurt with fruit, whole-grain waffles or even last night’s pizza!

Thought for the day: “Do a little more than you are paid to.  Give a little more than you have to.  Try a little harder than you want to.  Aim a little higher than you think possible, and give a lot of thanks to God for health, family, and friends.”
