Decatur County Middle School is the only middle school in Decatur County.  It encompasses 5-8th grades. 

 Mr. Chris Villaflor is the principal.  He serves both as chief administrator and academic coach.  Assistant Principal is Mr. Keith Walker.  Mr.Walker serves in several different capacities that are all inclusive for the benefit of teachers and students.  He also coaches the Girl's Varisty and Jr. Varsity Basketball team.

 We offer several extra curricular activites which include Sports (Girls Softball, Football, Basketball, Track and Boys Baseball) Band, Cheerleading, Dance Team Beta club, Student Council and Drama Club. We reward academic excellence and good behavior with  an event called WRAD.(We Reward Academics at Dcms.)
