I was born in Jackson, TN, but was raised in a suburb of New Orleans, LA. I attended a private K-12 school in LA. I also attended college in LA, receiving a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education (1-8). I have two wonderful children, Ryan and Renae! After being devastated by Hurricane Katrina in 2005, we relocated to Decatur County to be near family. I have taught at DCMS since that time. Currently, I teach 8th grade Language Arts, coach the cheerleading team, and sponsor the yearbook.
