I grew up in Decatur County, attended Decaturville Elementary School and Riverside High School, graduating in 1981. I earned my Bachelor of Science in Computer Science/Mathematics at the University of Tennessee at Martin in 1985. I earned my Masters in Education in 2007 at Freed Hardeman University. I married Nathan Coleman in 1985, we have 4 children and one beautiful grand-daughter.
I taught my first year at Parsons Elementary, 4th grade Math. My assignment at DCMS has been 5th-8th A+ Math and 7th Science.
